Marinade:

1 cup plain yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp garam masala
2 tsp cayenne
2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp fresh ginger or ginger paste
1 tsp salt

Sauce:

1 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
jalapeño pepper, chopped
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp paprika
3 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp salt
15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 3/4 cup cream

Directions:

Stir together marinade ingredients. Cut 3 chicken breasts into pieces and stir them into the marinade. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least a few hours, or overnight. (Leaving it overnight will make it hotter.)

For the sauce, melt the butter in a pot and add the garlic and jalapeño. Saute for a few minutes until they're softened, then add the seasonings. Add the tomato sauce, and then the cream.

While the sauce is simmering, take the chicken pieces out of the marinade and cook them in a separate pan. Once the chicken is fully cooked, add it to the sauce. Serve with basmati rice and naan. (Be sure to rinse and soak the rice for best results.)
